Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Park

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi at 0600 Hrs and drive to Samburu National Park. Your first stop is at the Equator Viewpoint to take pictures and drive through Nanyuki. Arrive in time for lunch, check in and have lunch with a brief relaxation. In the afternoon, head for a game drive in the park.

Perhaps well known as the country’s unique wildlife conservation haven, the Samburu National Park hosts the rare species notably Grevy Zabra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx, also known as the ‘Special Five’ spotted in the park and Northern Kenya and not any other park in the country. The park is also a home to the large predators such a Cheetahs, Leopards and Lions and other large mammals like the Elephants present in large numbers. Other animals found include the Warthogs, Hyenas, Elands, Waterbucks, Mongoose, among others. Birdlife is also abundant with over 500 species recorded,

Day 2: Game Drives in Samburu Game Reserve 

Breakfast then depart for game drives in the reserve. You will later return back to the loge for hot lunch and an afternoon relaxation.

Day 3: Depart Samburu to Nairobi

Breakfast, check out and depart for Nairobi. You will arrive at around 3 p.m. and our driver will drop you at your hotel/airport.
