Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Sanctuary
Our driver will pick you up at 0700 Hrs, then drive to Ol pejeta through central Kenya
Highlands, a 30min stop over at Equator Viewpoint to take pictures and drive through Nanyuki
Town.
Imagine having your foot on each side of the earth, this is perhaps the best photography
opportunity. The Equator is marked here, which divides the southern and northern hemispheres
and most visitors stop to take selfies with a backdrop of Mt. Kenya on a clear day.
You will arrive in time for lunch. Check-in at your hotel and have lunch. Afterward, relax and
perhaps dip in the pool or absorb the surroundings of the lodge before setting off for an
afternoon game drive till sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the

Kenya offers some amazing wildlife experiences and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy is perhaps your
quintessential game-viewing destination. The conservancy sits at the foothills of the iconic
snow-capped Mt. Kenya, in Central Kenya and the footprint in this region is the conservation
efforts to protect some of the world’s endangered and vulnerable species, such as the world’s
last two Northern white rhinos.
Day 2: Game Drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Breakfast and depart for a game drive at the conservancy. Return back for lunch and an
afternoon relaxation.
Dinner and overnight at the Sweetwaters Serena https://www.serenahotels.com/sweetwaters

The Conservancy is a trailblazer in conservation and among the places to visit includes the
Chimpanzee Sanctuary (the only place to see the chimps in Kenya) and learn about the day-to-
daycare of this wildlife including how they are fed. Immerse yourself in the game viewing
experience as you look out for the Big Five (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the
giraffes and elephants feeding on leaves of trees, zebras and antelopes grazing and a cheetah
scanning for its prey. The afternoon can be spent visiting the blind black Rhino, Baraka. You
also have an option of going down the nature trail (guided by the rangers) and have close
encounters with the behavior of mammals and birds.
