Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park

Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi/ area of residence and commence the drive to Tsavo East National Park using the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. You will stop on the way for a bathroom break and proceed to the park arriving in time for lunch. Check in, have lunch and a brief relaxation before setting out for a late afternoon game drive.

Return back for dinner and overnight

The Tsavo East National Park, is part the largest conservation area in Kenya and hosts significant populations of the large mammals such as the Big FIVE among other animals like the giraffe and zebras. The park has untrammeled wilderness atmosphere that appeals the tourists. This eastern side focal point for game drives is the Aruba Dam (the only permanent source of water), where Lions are often seen resting. Towards the Galana River is a good place to spot the Gerenuk, Somali ostrich, vulturine guineafowl among others.

Day 2: Full Game drive in Tsavo East National Park

Breakfast and then depart for game viewing at the different parts of the park. On this day, we concentrate on the areas with lots of waterholes to sport large concentrations of the Elephants. Later, we visit the Luggard Falls an imporatant landmark on the Galana River.

Return back to the lodge for hot lunch and an afternoon rest, later dinner and overnight at

Day 4: Tsavo East to Nairobi National Park

Breakfast then check out. Depart for a short game drive and begin the journey back to Nairobi to arrive at 5 pm and drop off at the hotel.
